1. Booking & Payment

• Deposit: A non‑refundable retainer of 1/3rd is required to secure your event date.

• Remaining Balance: Due no later than 7 days before the event.

• Late Payments: May incur additional fees

• Unpaid Balances: We reserve the right to cancel services if payment is not received by the deadline.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Client Cancellation: Retainer is non‑refundable. Additional refunds depend on how close to the event the cancellation occurs.

• Rescheduling: Allowed based on availability. Retainer transfers to the new date once confirmed.

• Vendor Cancellation: If we must cancel due to emergency, you receive a full refund and assistance finding a replacement DJ.

🎧 3. Services Provided

• DJ performance, sound equipment, lighting, MC services, and any add‑ons listed in your contract.

• We will arrive 1 - 3 hours early for setup unless otherwise agreed.

4. Equipment & Technical Requirements

• Client must provide safe, stable power sources and adequate space for equipment.

• Outdoor events require weather protection (tent, cover, etc.).

• If unsafe conditions exist, we may pause or stop services without refund.

5. Overtime

• Overtime is subject to DJ availability.

• Fees apply at a rate of $100 / hour, payable before overtime begins unless otherwise discussed

6. Liability

• We are not responsible for:

  • Venue power failures

  • Guest misconduct

  • Weather‑related interruptions

  • Equipment damage caused by guests or venue staff

  • 410 Events is not accountable for incidents or injuries resulting from guest interference with equipment or staff

  • Client shall indemnify and hold 410 Events and Sean Starnes harmless from any claims arising from injuries caused by guests’ negligence.

7. Media & Promotion

• We may capture photos or short video clips of the event for promotional use only with your consent.

8. Compliance With Maryland Laws

• We comply with all applicable Maryland regulations regarding business operations, noise ordinances, and event safety.

9. Termination of Services

We may stop services without refund if:

• Guests or staff threaten our safety

10. Force Majeure

We are not liable for cancellations or service interruptions caused by events beyond our control, including:
